Compare the case of the same 1 bedroom apartment. One university student has just moved in. With no furniture, he begins to slowly, like a slow motion turtle, collect stuff. Old textbooks, newspapers and junk mail that he never reads, moldy left over take-out food – a spider is crawling on his dusty comforter - dirty clothes piled in multiple corners, his sleeping pillow which also doubles as his working desk - his back starts to hurt - 8 dirty cups with sticky coke surround him, bathroom toiletries in the living room...
